The Guernsey Buddhist Society was founded in 1998. Our practice is that of the Plum Village Zen Community founded by Thich Nhat Hanh.
Buddhists of all schools are welcome at our events, as indeed are people of any faith or no faith.

Days of Mindfulness
Days of Mindfulness are held regularly. These are one-day retreats and include guided and silent meditation, walking meditation, chanting, a Dharma talk and an opportunity to share Dharma experience. Noble Silence is maintained for much of the day.

Meetings
Regular meetings are held for Meditation, Chanting and Study
Meditation sessions are normally held on Tuesday evenings, starting at 7.30.
